Ulla Streib

Ulla has a detailed and up to date knowledge of the production process across multiple genres, experience of multi-partner international co-production deals, and is an experienced strategist with a track record of achieving proven company growth. As Director of Production, she has made award winning high-end documentaries for domestic and international broadcasters for over 20 years.

Ulla was on the senior management team at Darlow Smithson Productions for over 16 years, and worked on features including the BAFTA winning “Touching the Void”, specialist factual documentaries “Stephen Hawking’s Universe”, documentaries including “Thriller in Manila” and “The King in the Car Park” and dramas such as “The Mill” and “The Diaries of Anne Frank”. She was part of the team that grew DSP into an internationally respected multi-million pound turnover company which was then sold first to IMG and then to Endemol.

Since leaving DSP, Ulla set up and became part time Managing Director of EOS Films, a company that specialises in making international documentaries with and for Chinese broadcasters.

She also co-produced another feature doc “How to Change the World” and worked with Lightbox Media for a year to set up their company structure and manage their production slate.
